Re: Salt Lake City Co-ops?
Wed, January 2, 2008 - 12:07 AMI just found a co-housing opportunity and know of a couple of food co-ops in Salt Lake. One run by a friend of mine, another through the church around the corner who orders with the food pantry I think. Give me a day or three and I'll get the info up here. The farmers market usually has one or two CSA's (community supported agriculture).
What are you looking for specifically? -

Re: Salt Lake City Co-ops?
Sat, January 5, 2008 - 7:53 PMThis "saltlakecity.craigslist.org/roo/...html" was on Craigs list. My lady found it the other day. I wrote to them, and they were still looking. I'm not sure it's for me yet.
The "church" co-op isn't really run "by" the church (Lutheran by the way). A couple of volunteers who just happened to like the idea of a food co-op. I think it's ordered by or through the food pantry.
The CSA is "Sun River Farms". They bring the food shares down to the farmers market (summer, of course).
